Established in Dagonbhuiyan during a period where girls in rural Bangladesh found it challenging to get an education, the school was founded in 1983. The school currently has 1705 students. Nasreen Awal was the school's Chairperson from 2002-2014. In 2002 Dagonbhuiyan Upazila Parishad (Council) presented an award to Nasreen for her role in introducing mid-day meals for the students who were dealing with various health issues due to lack of nutrition.
Named after the late Iqbal Hossain, the Iqbal Memorial College, as it is commonly known, was established in 1985. Iqbal Hossain, brother of Abdul Awal Mintoo, passed away in 1982 due to blood cancer in 1982. Located in Dagonbhuiyan, Feni, Iqbal Memorial College started offering Degree Course in 1993, and Honors Course in 2016. The College looks forward to being converted into a public college soon. Currently (2018/19) there are 3,568 students enrolled. Abdul Awal Mintoo, Chairman of Multimode Group is currently the Chairman of Iqbal Memorial College.
Founded in 1939 the school is named after Turkey's legendary founder Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. Multimode Group's former Chairman, the late Habibullah was Chairman of the school managing committee from 1981-2006, located in Dagonbuiyan, Feni. In this time he brought the school to the Turkish government's notice, who gave immense financial support to rebuild the school which included a building a football field, and give scholarships to students from there. Many regional established personalities attended the Ataturk Model High School including Kazi Fazlur Rahman, former Adviser to the Bangladesh Government, former Secretary to the Bangladesh Government Abdur Rob, former Mayor of Kolkata Municipality Shashadhar Mazumder.
Located in Dagonbhuiyan, Feni, Badarernessa High School was established in 1994 in the land adjacent to the Awal family's ancestral home. The school is named after the mother of Multimode Group's Chairman Abdul Awal Mintoo. Nasreen Awal, Vice Chairman, Multimode Group, is the Chairperson of the school, which has 455 students with ratio of girls and boys almost equal.
Located in Kashimpur, Gazipur, the school was established in 2013. Nasreen Awal is the founder, guardian, and Chairperson of the school which is named after her father. Shahjahan Bhuiyan Memorial Government Primary School has 252 students, majority of which are girls.
